Nachana Haveli is situated in the heart of the old city, which is the best location in Jaisalmer. As it's in the heart of the city, all the major attractions of the city are within walking distance.

Golden Fort

10 mins walks from the Haveli. Counted amongst the largest forts in the world, the Jaisalmer Fort is one of the few living monuments in the world and home to a fourth of the city's population. The view of the sunset from this fort is a treat to the eyes for all the travellers. Jaisalmer fort is popularly known as the "Sonar Kila" because it is made of yellow sandstone. The Jaisalmer fort seems like a palace in the fairy tales and dominates the tinted small town of Jaisalmer. The fort was built in 1156, and is a proud chattel of our Bhati clan.

Jain Temples

10 mins walk from the Haveli within the vicinity of Jaisalmer fort lay 7 Jain temples which are an embodiment of beautiful structural designs. Right from ceilings to tombs to gateways, each and every part of this temple is decorated with mirrors, frescoes, carvings, etc. These temples were built way back in the12th and 15th century, and are dedicated to various Jain Tirthankars (Hermits). On the walls of the temples, you can find animal & human figures, carved in famous Dilwara temple style.

Patwon Ki Haveli

5 mins walk from the Haveli. Situated near the Patwa valley, this haveli comprises of 5 different palaces, and is also known as the house of the brocade merchants, because it was built by a wealthy brocade merchant and jeweller. It has about 60 balconies in total, and the structure is constructed in traditional style of Jaisalmer. This mansion complex is one of the most well preserved heritages of the region

Bada Bagh

Is a garden complex about 6 km north of Jaisalmer on way to Ramgarh, and halfway between Jaisalmer and Lodhruva in the state of Rajasthan in India. It contains a set of royal cenotaphs, or chhatris of Maharajas of Jaisalmer state, starting with Jai Singh II (d. 1743)

Nathmal Ki Haveli

2 mins walking distance from our Haveli.  This Nathmal Ji ki haveli was commissioned to serve as the residence of Diwan Mohata Nathmal, the then Prime Minister of Jaisalmer. Maharawal Beri Sal commissioned the construction of this Haveli.

Gadisar Lake

1.5 kms and takes about 5 mins drive from the Haveli. Gadsisar Lake is one of the major tourist attractions of Jaisalmer. Just leave the madding crowd behind and venture towards the outskirts and you will find yourself next to the famous Gadsisar Lake. Contrary to the popular belief, it is not an oasis but a water conservation tank made around 1400 A.D. by the then maharaja of Jaisalmer. Great spot for bird watching.

Thar Desert exploration

We will take you for a 2 hour drive in the middle of the wild Thar Desert and also show you the Oases. This is a private tour and covers the wilderness all around Jaisalmer. If you are lucky you will spot some wildlife too.

Amar Sagar Jain Temple

4 kms and takes about 10 mins from the Haveli. Located adjacent to the famous Amar Sagar Lake and south of Lodurva, there is a Jain Temple dedicated to Lord Parshwanath, called Adeshwar Nath Jain temple. It was built by Patwa Bafna Himmat Ram in 1928. Amar Sagar once was a water reservoir (particularly an artificial lake) but now it is mostly dry.
